Hartree-Fock Results for Some Excited States of O+2, O+, and Ne+

Abstract

Hartree-Fock results are reported for some excited states of ${\mathrm{O}}^{+2\mathrm{}}$, ${\mathrm{O}}^{+}$, and ${\mathrm{Ne}}^{+}$, all of which involve two incomplete groups. The off-diagonal energy parameters included in the calculation turn out to be large in some cases. A procedure is suggested for dealing with nondiagonal terms in the Hamiltonian.
