Abstract
A plea for consideration of results of studies of iodine metabolism using classical chemical methods in evaluating the results obtained by use of radioiodine tracers. Particularly in the field of iodine turnover rates is it necessary to measure both radioactive and stable isotopes. Biophysical methods must be adapted to the organism rather than the organism warped to fit oversimplified physical theory. Keywords
