Abstract
An improved method for for-malinization of erythrocytes from different species of animals is described. Reproducible preparations, relatively free from crenation and non-specific agglutinability, are satisfactory for various agglutination tests by the pattern method, and may be stored for one year or longer at 4°C without loss of capacity to react in these tests. The principles applied to attain satisfactory formalinized cells are discussed. Keywords
