3-(p-Chlorophenyl)-1,1-Dimethylurea-- A New Herbicide

Abstract
This synthesized compound has been found very effective in killing many plant spp., particularly annual and perennial grasses, e.g., Johnson grass, Bermuda grass, quack grass, orchard grass, prairie brome, etc. The initial effect is leaf tip dieback, followed by progressive chlorosis and retardation of growth, ending in the death of the sprayed plant.
