Polymyxin F, a new peptide antibiotic.

Abstract
The isolation of polymyxin F from the Bacillus circulans fermentation broth, its physical characteristics and its antimicrobial activity against Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pyogenes, Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Candida albicans are reported.
