Abstract
A carrier of a reciprocal translocation between chromosomes 10 and 18 had a child with a reciprocal translocation involving different segments of the same chromosomes. The categories of possible meiotic errors in carriers of balanced rearrangements must, therefore, be expanded to include new reciprocal translocations. Keywords
