Abstract
An endocarditis case caused by S. enteritidis is reported in a 20 yr old African woman. This is the 4th published case. Development of this rare infection in the patient reported here probably resulted from reduction in immunity caused by pregnancy and a past splenectomy. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
