Abstract
The synthesis of the 2-nitro-4-azidophenyl glycosides of β-D-galactopyranose, β-D-glucopyranose, β-cellobiose, and 1-thio-β-D-galactopyranose is described and the properties of these photochemically active affinity labelling agents are recorded.
