Über ein neues bei der akuten Porphyrie regelmäßig vorkommendes Uroporphyrin.

Abstract

In a previous paper Waldenstrom pointed out the differences in solubility, etc., between the uroporphyrin excreted in acute porphyria and the uroporphyrin I. By means of the determination of the pH-fluorescence curve of this new porphyrin the non-identity of the 2 porphyrins could be demonstrated. On the other hand the curve very much resembles the one characteristic of uroporphyrin I. The occurrence of an isomeric uroporphyrin is therefore assumed.
