Abstract
Reports of bone lesions in systemic amyloidosis, detected radiologically, have been extremely few. In one characteristic group firm periarticular soft tissue swellings in shoulders, hips and fingers, are associated with rarefaction and with erosions of the underlying bone notably the head of the humerus and the femoral neck. In a second group a “localised tumour” in bone is found which has no diagnostic radiological features. Keywords
