DISORDERS OF PERCEPTION AND PERFORMANCE IN A CASE OF RIGHT-SIDED CEREBRAL THROMBOSIS

Abstract
Right-sided cerebral thrombosis in a 62-yr.-old female gave rise to left-sided hemiplegia, hemianopia, and profound sensory loss with initial anosognosia. Noxious left-sided sensory stimulation was not consciously recognized but gave rise to restlessness, uneasiness, tachycardia, rise in blood pressure, pupillary dilatation and deepened respiration. Visual-spatial agnosia was a marked feature.
