Abstract
Catecholamines can be determined coulometrically at constant-current electrolysis of 30 milliamperes in concentration corresponding to 1×10−9 to 1×10−6 equivalents per second of electrolysis time. Iodine - reagent is generated electrically and its amount is evaluated from a knowledge of the current and the generating time. This procedure is compared with the potentiometric method using a redox electrode.
