UNTERSUCHUNGEN ÜBER DIE BEEINFLUSSUNG DER ACTH-, CORTISON- UND ADRENALIN-WIRKUNG DURCH HEPARIN

Abstract
Small doses of heparin inhibited the effect of ACTH on eosinophils, blood sugar and pyruvic acid in man. Using the same criteria, heparin did not inhibit the effect of cortisone or epinephrine. It was therefore considered unlikely that epinephrine exerts its effect through mediation of ACTH.
