Itinerant-Electron Antiferromagnetism in Np

Abstract
We report measurements of the specific heat, Mössbauer effect, and electrical resistivity of Np, which identify its weak antiferromagnetism ( K) as arising from itinerant electrons. This is the first known verification of itinerant -electron antiferromagnetism in any system.
