A brief summary is presented of recent chemical laser research. The principal emphasis is on current device performance, particularly those areas where promising new work is being done. Chemical kinetics and theoretical modeling are not discussed in detail, but extensive references are provided for the reader who wishes to pursue these subjects in greater depth.
