Abstract
In the first paper of this series (Bryan & Hummerstone, 1971) it was shown that in the estuarine polychaeteNereis diversicolorO. F. Müller the concentration of copper is roughly proportional to that of the surrounding sediment. On the other hand, concentrations of zinc appeared to be relatively independent of those in the sediment and it was suggested that the level of zinc in the worm is regulated. Keywords
