Abstract
Measurements have been made of the ionization cross section for protons incident on hydrogen gas in the energy range 0.15-1.10 Mev. The experimental cross section in this region can be represented by /molecule, where is the incident proton energy in Mev. The experimental results are in excellent agreement with a Born approximation calculation, which is discussed.
