Pion and Nucleon Structure Functions nearx=1

Abstract
In a colored-quark and vector-gluon model of hadrons we show that a quark carrying nearly all the momentum of a nucleon (x1) must have the same helicity as the nucleon; consequently νW2nνW2p37 as x1, not 23 as might naively have been expected. Furthermore as x1, νW2π(1x)2 and (σLσT)πμ2Q2(1x)2+O(g2); the resulting angular dependence for e+eh±+X is consistent with present data and has a distinctive form which can be easily tested when better data are available.
