METASTATIC MELANOMA OF THE GALLBLADDER

Abstract
Oral cholecystography in a patient with metastatic melanoma of the gallbladder demonstrated multiple fixed filling defects ranging in size from 2-15 mm. This appearance is similar to the only 2 previously reported cases. Substantiation of the cholecystographic diagnosis was provided by the arteriographic demonstration of co-existing hepatic metastases and faint contrast staining of some of the gallbladder nodules.
