Abstract
Serum LH [luteinizing hormone] was measured by radioimmunoassay; free and linked hormones were separated by the double antibody method. The influence of concentration on the antibody-hormone complex is studied. Hypophysectomized rat serum does not modify the results. The standard (rat) hormone has the same action as serum LH. Rat serum LH contents were measured in normal and castrated rats.
