Abstract
A continuing study of the deep water algae of the east Florida [USA] continental shelf was established to determine species inventory, seasonality and depth distribution. S. incrassata sp. nov. is described. Six species of red algae recently described from the North and South Carolina are reported for Florida; Petroglossum undulatum, Hypnea volubilis, Gloioderma atlantica, G. blomquistii, Branchioglossum prostratum and B. minutum.This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
