Abstract
Molybdenum inhibited production of active nitrate reductase by Veillonella parvula and increased utilization of L-lactate, but had little effect on cell yield. KNO3 spared con sumption of L -lactate. Cell yield of Streptococcus mutans was increased in the presence of molybdenum, but there was no change in L -lactate production or terminal pH.Keywords
