Abstract
A case of retroperitoneal fibrosis involving the testicle is presented. The widespread extent of the retroperitoneal fibrosis syndrome is reviewed briefly. The literature contains little information concerning the aetiology of testicular involvement in the disease process, which generally affects the para-aortic tissues. The physical signs mimic testicular neoplasm. A common embryological derivation of the tissues affected is postulated. Keywords
