Distinctiveness of color, form and position cues for pigeons.

Abstract

Six Silver King pigeons were presented an ambiguous-cue discrimination problem for which the stimulus dimensions were green vs. red, circle vs. triangle, and right vs. left stimulus cards. Results from this and subsequent training detd. form to be less distinctive than color or position as a cue for discrimination learning.
