Abstract
The distribution of phytochrome was determined by in vivo spectroscopy in dark-grown barley, corn, oat, pea, bean, and sunflower seedlings. The highest concentration of phytochrome was found in either meristematic or recently meristematic tissue. The phyto-chrome-protein ratio was almost always considerably higher in regions of high phytochrome content. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
