Abstract
A description of magnetic interaction, including demagnetizing effects and the vector nature of the magnetization, is presented. Demagnetizing factors appropriate for the second-order approximation for cubic and cylindrical sample shapes are explicitly calculated. A technique for measuring absolute amplitudes based on the weak interaction of two frequencies is proposed. Keywords
