Abstract
Semiconducting KNbO3 ceramics exhibit two PTCR anomalies: at the Curie point and in the vicinity of the orthorhombic-tetragonal transition between two ferroelectric phases. Significant influence of domain reorientation processes on resistivity values was observed. The results obtained are explained on the basis of Heywang-Jonker model of the PTCR effect modified to take account of intergranular glassy phase or, alternatively, of nonlinear character of polarization P versus electric field E dependence. Keywords
