Abstract
A spectrophotometric cell for the direct observation of chemical reactions at pressures and temperatures in the ranges 1-1000 atm and −30-200°C respectively is described. The combination of appropriate windows and metal spacers facilitates the measurement of either infrared or visible-ultraviolet spectra. Keywords
