Abstract
An inexpensive and versatile magnetic guide field for polarized thermal neutrons is described. Methods are discussed to turn the polarization vector of a beam of polarized thermal neutrons in space and with respect to a magnetic guide field in the wavelength region of 1.0 to 2.0 Å. Within an experimental error of 2% no depolarization was found. Keywords
