Abstract
A test of generalized PDDAC (pole dominance of the divergence of the axial current) for is made by calculating the -wave scattering length and effective range for scattering using current-algebra techniques. First-order corrections in the kaon four-momentum are shown to be zero for the scattering length and small for the effective range. From a comparison with experiment, PDDAC for the meson seems to be good within 30%.
