Abstract
We consider the scattering of atoms off a standing electromagnetic wave in a given quantum state and show that the photon statistics can directly manifest itself in the momentum distribution of scattered atoms. Revival-like structures in the distribution function, resulting from quantization, appear as well. Keywords
