Simplified Method. for the Deter mination of Refractive Indices of Textile Fibres

Abstract

A new method of determining the refractive indices of fibres is described which uses as its basis, a photometric match of Becke line intensities emanating from the difference between the maximum and the minimum refractive indices of the fibre and the index of the mounting fluid.
