Abstract
Linear regression, with both variates subject to error, is discussed as to structure, and use of an auxiliary or instruments'' variate is discussed. Joint analysis of variance for two or more variates is described, and is illustrated using a problem in amino-acid content of several single crosses of corn. Estimation of slope is discussed. Components of variance are used in estimation. Cases and applications of more than two variates are included. An appendix develops estimation of variances for slopes, and 19 references are given. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
