Abstract
Various air-conditioning agents were tested to determine their usefulness in absorbing or adsorbing naturally evolved ethylene and the gas responsible for apple scald. Considerable promise was shown by bromine gas ''adsorbed on the surface of activated cocoa-nut charcoal.
