Abstract
A case of disseminated North American blastomycosis is described where two neurological relapses occurred after treatment with intravenous amphotericin B. After the second relapse, the drug was given intrathecally as well as intravenously, but intrathecal treatment was interrupted by the development of paraplegia. The paraplegia cleared up almost completely, over a period of several weeks, and further reactivation of blastomycosis has not occurred to date. A total of 5800 mg of amphotericin B was given. Keywords
