Abstract
During the incubation of plasma with viper venom and Ca2+ ions, glycerylphosphorylcholine is released. Glycerylphosphorylcholine is formed during the incubation of platelet-rich plasma with Ca2+ ions. It is likely that the source of the glycerylphosphorylcholine is plasma lecithin. The mechanism by which glycerylphosphorylcholine is released is discussed. Keywords
