Erythroblastosis Fetalis

Abstract
Technic of Exchange TransfusionAlthough we do not intend to discuss technic in detail, there are a few improvements over the previously published method that are worth mentioning. The first is the plastic infant-feeding tube (Fig. 3), which has a closed, smoothly rounded tip with holes on the sides, and a plastic connector at the proximal end that fits a plain Luer male connector, such as is found on the B-D L/S three-way stopcock. These tubes can be autoclaved if packed carefully, but it is probably better to use a new one for each transfusion, since they are sold individually . . .
