Abstract

P. stoveri n. sp. is descr. It parasitizes R. solani by a coiling type of physical relationship and in addition is frequently found to penetrate the host causing complete protoplasmic destruction. The parasite is effective in reducing the amount of seedling disease caused by R. solani.
