Diethylstilbestrol, progesterone and DOCA induced in vitro hemolysis of human "O" erythrocytes. The hemolytic activity of stilbestrol was modified by temp., pH, human serum, or the addition of non-hemolytic corticosteroids. Prolytic loss of K from stilbestrol-treated cells was demonstrated.
