Transfer hamiltonian approach to Kapitza resistance

Abstract
As in the theory of electron tunnelling a transfer hamiltonian formalism is proposed to describe phonon transmission through a solid-liquid 4He interface. Such an approach allows a systematic evaluation of the effects of phonon scattering processes on the Kapitza resistance.Keywords
