Abstract
An original methodology for fatigue resistance of mechanical structure is presented. Our approach relies on a “macro-micro” analysis. Here micro stresses in misoriented elements are evaluated when the macroscopic loading path is known. Multiaxial fatigue criteria are then proposed. Some industrial applications are shown. Keywords
