Abstract
Biologists have gone through two phases in response to environmental degradation: awareness and documentation of damage. We are now entering phase three: development of a predictive capability. This paper discusses the activities for the development of a predictive capability for assessment of hazardous chemicals and touches on the need for feedback loops to correct errors in the predictive process.Keywords
