Abstract
We have synthesized(1) 35 compounds of structural formula where n and m take on values from 1 to 7 and 4 to 8 respectively. (2) We have studied the phase behavior and identified many of the mesomorphic phases of these compounds by means of differential scanning calorimetry(3) (DSC) and thermal microscopy(4) (TM)Keywords
