Abstract
Intraductal carcinomas of the prostate comprise about 3% of all prostatic carcinomas and constitute a heterogeneous group of tumors that include transitional or squamous cell carcinoma, intraductal adenocarcinoma, endometroid carcinoma and mixed ductal carcinoma. Generally, these tumors are poorly respective to endocrine and radiation therapy, and complete surgical excision offers the best chance for long-term survival. A case [human] of intraductal adenocarcinoma is presented that illustrates many of the features of these tumors. This publication has 20 references indexed in Scilit:
