Abstract
The spatial frequency (k) space concept is extended to describe the imaging of time-dependent objects. This work builds on the existing k-space description of MRI and is useful for simplifying the analysis of explanations of motion artifacts, algorithms for the correction of motion, and efficient imaging schemes for dynamic objects. Specific examples of the use of this concept for different imaging techniques are presented. Keywords
