Abstract
Electron micrographs have demonstrated fibre formation in an acid-processed gelatin which had reverted to a collagen-type of structure in citrate. The type of fibre produced depends on the method or reagent of precipitation. The possible function of citrate in bone formation is discussed.Keywords
