Approximation Method for Double-Scattering Integrals

Abstract

A method is suggested for approximately evaluating matrix elements for double-scattering processes. The method of performing integrals is illustrated in the cases of inelastic $p-d$ scattering and $p-p$ bremsstrahlung. The correction to $p-p$ bremsstrahlung is found to be not greater than 7%.
