Abstract
The conventional boundary conditions of micromagnetics are modified to include surface anisotropy of crystallographic nature, which is possible in epitaxy, or when surfactants are chemisorbed on the surface of ferromagnetic particles. As an illustration, the nucleation by the magnetization curling mode is calculated for a sphere with such a surface anisotropy. Keywords
