Behavior of the Meson-Nucleon Cross Section at High Energies

Abstract

It is shown that within the context of a local causal field theory the total $\pi$-nucleon cross section $\omega \left(\sigma \right)$ has the following behavior at high energies: ${\lim }_{\omega \to \infty }\omega \sigma \left(\omega \right)>\mathrm{}0\mathrm{}$.
