Abstract
This is a report of a small series of cases of primary carcinoma of the renal pelvis and ureter, with particular reference to diagnosis of these conditions by cytological examination of the urine. The causes of failure of detection and the advantages of using this method are discussed, and the cytological and histological diagnoses are compared. Keywords
